Enjoyed your story David. Lighthouses and stamps have both been important in my life. As a boy I used to collect airplane themed stamps. With air mail being a big deal then, every country issued sets of them. I live couple of hundred yards from Point Pinos (Point of the Pines) the oldest continually operating lighthouse on the west coast of the US.
